In this, my second post I am to discuss what should be done differently for the next time the course is taught. Thinking back I have a hard time coming up with something that needs to be changed in the teaching of this course. All of the topics that I would have expected to be presented including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint were presented during the modules we covered. The course may want to attack the use of MAC OS applications, as they are used differently than those created by Microsoft, and offer different options, and more and more students are utilizing Apple computers and devices.
I thought it would be a nice choice for all of you to get a chance to see me in picture form so I am attaching a photo of myself to this post.
Have a great day. We will talk soon...

Introducing myself
Just a little hello to those of you that are reading my blog. My name is Carolyn Reckner. I am a paralegal major at Schenectady County Community College, am 31 years old, married and have three daughters, ages 13, 3 1/2, and 2 1/2. I am currently taking an online course Intro to Computers that has required me to begin this blog. This is the first time I have created or even used blog programs of any kind. The closest thing to a blog I have ever participated in was on my MySpace profile when I updated my friends and family of the events in my life.
When thinking about this course and what I have learned, I would have to say the most interesting and informative module thus far has been the last module. I never realized that there were word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet programs for use on the internet for free. http://www.zoho.com/
Thank you for reading. See you next time...
